PM expected to reply to Motion of Thanks on President’s address Tuesday

New Delhi, Feb 4 (UNI) Prime Minister Narendra Modi is expected to reply on the Motion of Thanks to the President’s address in the Lok Sabha on Tuesday afternoon.

The PM’s address comes a day after the Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi, launched a scathing attack on the Central government, calling ‘Make in India’ a failure.

Gandhi also said that the Centr has denied that Chinese forces are inside Indian territory, “but for some reason, our Army keeps talking to the Chinese about their entry into our territory, and the Chief of Army Staff has said that the Chinese are inside our territory.”

The Budget Session began on January 31 with the President’s address to the joint session of the Houses of Parliament. Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman presented the Union Budget on February 1.

The first part of the ongoing budget session will continue till February 13. The session will reconvene on March 10 and continue till April 4.

Since the session began, the Opposition has raised slogans demanding a discussion on the Maha Kumbh stampede while also criticising the government for not publishing a list of those who died in the January 29 incident.
