- Chambal-Malwa and Bundelkhand will have adequate drinking water and irrigation facilities
Khajuraho: CM Dr. Mohan Yadav has said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is the Bhagirath of the modern era in the context of Madhya Pradesh. He said that just as Ganga Ji, which descended due to the efforts of King Bhagirath, gave new life to everyone, similarly Prime Minister Modi has ushered in a new era in India. Prime Minister Modi’s tenure is the best example of how conditions improve in 10-12 years with positive thinking and efforts.
Former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee had dreamt of making the region drought free and making adequate arrangements for water. Prime Minister Modi took the initiative to bring this dream to reality. Along with the launch of the Ken Betwa Link Project, the launch of the Parvati-Kali Sindh-Chambal Link Project costing Rs 35 thousand crore a few days ago was historic. These projects will provide drinking water and irrigation facilities to Chambal, Malwa and entire Bundelkhand region and will provide water to industries.

Dr. Yadav said that all arrangements for good governance are being made in the state under the leadership and guidance of Prime Minister Modi. Along with taking care of all sections including the poor, youth, farmers, Prime Minister Modi has also made democracy flourish. That is why it became possible for a person from a poor farmer family to become the Chief Minister. Prime Minister Modi is congratulated for the ideal presented by him by taking equal care of all – government, society and system. Only with such a vision can the direction of people’s lives change. By approving two big river projects for Madhya Pradesh in 8 days, Prime Minister Modi has given a message to the states that our natural resources should be for the mutual betterment of the states, not just for narrow interests.
