To attend Griha Pravesh of beneficiaries of PM Awas Yojana
Bhopal: Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi will attend the Griha Pravesh of the beneficiaries of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Urban and Rural) on October 2. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan directed that all necessary preparations for the dignified event should be completed.
Chief Minister Shri Chouhan was reviewing the preparations for the Prime Minister’s proposed programme with Collector Gwalior and officials of related departments through video conferencing from the Chief Minister’s residence on Thursday. The Chief Minister said that a large number of needy people in the state have got their houses through housing schemes. The credit for this achievement also goes to the officers and employees of the concerned departments. In Gwalior, about 2 lakh beneficiaries have got direct benefits from the Pradhan Mantri Gramin Awas Yojana. Prime Minister Shri Modi will also perform Bhoomi-Pujan along with the inaugural programme of houses and will dedicate many development works in the mela ground complex of Gwalior. Chief Secretary Shri Iqbal Singh Bains and concerned senior officers were present in the meeting.
