Port Louis/New Delhi, Mar 12 (UNI) Prime Minister Narendra Modi left for home after a two-day visit to Mauritius, where he attended the National Day celebrations and also held talks with his Mauritian counterpart Navinchandra Ramgoolam.
The Mauritius PM was present at the airport to see off PM Modi, just as he was there to welcome him on arrival yesterday.
The MEA spokesperson said in a post on X:
“PM @narendramodi departs from Mauritius after a very fruitful & memorable visit. In a warm gesture, PM was seen off by PM @Ramgoolam_Dr at the airport.”
The PM’s visit lasted 33 hours. He was also presented with Mauritius’ top civilian honour.
