PM Modi holds meeting with Mahayuti MLAs in Mumbai

Mumbai, Jan 15 (UNI) Prime Minister Narendra Modi held a meeting with MLAs of the ruling Mahayuti alliance here on Wednesday.

Earlier, Modi dedicated three frontline naval combatants INS Surat, INS Nilgiri and INS Vaghsheer to the nation on their commissioning at the Naval Dockyard in Mumbai. He also inaugurated ISKCON temple at Kharghar Mumbai.

During the meeting with the MLAs, he gave mantra of development to all. But few NCP( AP) MLAs which includes Dilip Valse Patil, Chhagan Bhujbal, Saroj Ahire, Raju Navghare, Dhananjay Munde, Prakash Solanke, Idris Naikwadi were not present in the meeting.

Shiv sena ( Eknath Shinde) Leader Deepak Kesarkar told media after the meeting with Modi that the latter told us that how should we work in political life, how should we solve people’s problems.

He said that India is working in the spirit of development considering the whole world as a family. The induction of three flagship warships into the Navy underscores India’s unwavering commitment to building a strong and self-reliant defence force.

India has emerged as a first responder in the Indian Ocean region. Navy has saved many lives and secured national and international cargo. This has increased the trust in India from all over the world and today India is recognized as a reliable and responsible partner globally, especially in the ‘Global south”. the PM said.

Modi said that the dedication of three warships to the nation is important in terms of economy as well as military.

In all areas be it land, water, air, deep sea or infinite space, India has continued its admirable process of becoming self-sufficient in the last few years through all the three armed forces, he said.

The Indian military equipment is now available to Indian soldiers and defesse equipment is being exported to more than 100 countries. He said ‘Make in India’ scheme is expanding through this and opening the door of economic progress and making a big contribution in the process of moving towards the third largest economy of India.

The Prime Minister also inaugurated the ISKCON temple at Kharghar in Navi Mumbai which is spread over nine acres of land and is the second largest ISKCON temple in Asia. It is constructed at Kharghar in Navi Mumbai by the International Society for Krishna Consciousness.
