Warsaw/New Delhi, Aug 22 (UNI) Prime Minister Narendra Modi was on Thursday accorded a ceremonial welcome at the Federal Chancellery in Warsaw before he sat down for bilateral talks with Polish PM Donald Tusk.
The visit by PM Modi is the first by an Indian PM to Poland after 45 years.
After the welcome, PM Modi sat down for bilateral talks with his Polish counterpart. The PM was accompanied by External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar, National Security Advisor Ajit Doval and Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri.
MEA spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal in posts on X said:

โPM @narendramodi warmly received by PM @donaldtusk of Poland at the Federal Chancellery in Warsaw and accorded a ceremonial welcome.

Separately, EAM held talks with his Polish counterpart Radosลaw Sikorski.
In a post on X, the EAM said:
