Bhopal: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Anandpur Dham in Ishagarh, Ashoknagar district, today. During his visit, he will offer prayers and perform rituals at the Guru Ji Maharaj Temple and tour the temple complex.
Anandpur Dham, spread over 315 hectares, was established for spiritual and philanthropic purposes. The complex houses a modern cow shelter with over 500 cattle and is also engaged in agricultural activities. The Anandpur Trust operates a charitable hospital in Sukhpur village, which has been serving the community since 1977. The hospital has 125 beds and sees nearly 600 patients daily across various specialties, including cardiology, surgery, orthopedics, and dental care. Special health camps are also organized annually.
The Trust runs several schools, including Anand Primary School and Anand Secondary School in Sukhpur, with 62 teachers and 1,215 students. The Trust also manages other centers in locations such as Pune, Jammu, Mumbai, Bengaluru, and Delhi. Key festivals like Guru Purnima, Diwali, and the birth anniversary of Shri Paramhans Ji are celebrated at these centers.
