PM will virtually attend ceremony in Shahdol

  • Tribal Pride Day: Will dedicate 2 tribal museums

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will virtually attend the National Tribal Pride Day programme organised in Shahdol on the Jayanti of Bhagwan Birsa Munda. Prime Minister Modi will dedicate to the nation Badal Bhoi Tribal Freedom Fighter Museum of Chhindwara and Raja Shankar Shah and Raghunath Shah Freedom Fighter Museum of Jabalpur. Madhya Pradesh Governor Mangubhai Patel, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, Deputy Chief Minister Rajendra Shukla, Tribal Affairs Minister Dr. Kunwar Vijay Shah along with public representatives and a large number of people from the tribal society will participate.

Governor Patel and CM Dr. Yadav will give many gifts of development in the state level programme organised in Shahdol on Tribal Pride Day. During this, Bhoomi Pujan and dedication of 76 different development works costing Rs 229.66 crore will be done. Traditional folk dances Gudumba, Shaila, Karma, Reena will be presented by folk artists in the function. Along with this, a development exhibition of various departments will also be organised at the venue.

Release of Vision Document

Tribal Pride Day will be celebrated on Bhagwan Birsa Munda Jayanti at 1 pm in the Prime Minister College of Excellence campus of Dhar in the presence of Governor Mangubhai Patel and Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav. Governor Patel and CM Dr. Yadav will release the Vision Document of Dhar and Dharampuri Assembly Constituency along with FRA Atlas. Sickle Cell Eradication 2047 postage stamp will also be released in the programme. On this occasion, Bhoomi Pujan and dedication of 57 development works costing Rs 334.36 crore will also be done. The Governor and the Chief Minister will distribute benefits to the beneficiaries of various schemes and tricycles to the Divyangjan in the programme. Tribal pride cultural exhibition and stalls of various departments will also be set up in the programme.
