Police should get modern training

In present times, the trend of technology has increased, which is also being resorted to by criminals. After the implementation of the new law, now the victims are also getting FIRs done through electronic media.

After such changes, the pressure of efficiency on the police force is increasing. In such a situation, it has become necessary that police personnel should be continuously trained with modern technology, so that they can do their work with full efficiency. Justice Aniruddha Bose, former judge of the Supreme Court of India and Director of National Judicial Academy Bhopal, said this in the auditorium of CAPT on Tuesday. He was addressing the 39th seminar of the heads of training institutes as the chief guest. This prestigious national level event organized under the aegis of Bureau of Police Research and Development (BPR&D) is being led under the guidance of IPS Rajiv Kumar Sharma, Director General, Bureau of Police Research and Development, New Delhi. Heads of police training academies from all over the country have gathered in this two-day seminar. The aim of the seminar was to reflect on what kind of training is necessary to enhance the efficiency of the police force in changing times.

Conclusion will be sent to the Home Ministry

The seminar will also focus on analysis of training needs and exchange of knowledge among participants to enhance the effectiveness of police training programmes. Participants will explore current trends, best practices and innovations, focusing on training methods, skill development, collaboration and policy strategies. Ethical considerations and training evaluation will also be discussed, with the aim of generating useful recommendations for improving police training.
