18 new positives in MP, highest 8 cases in Bhopal

Corona cases are increasing continuously in Madhya Pradesh. 18 new positives have been found in 24 hours. For the 7th consecutive day, a maximum of 8 corona cases have been reported in Bhopal. Six infected have been found in Indore, 2 each in Gwalior and Jabalpur. The number of active patients in the state has increased to 142. One of the infected found in Gwalior is a 48-year-old army soldier. On examination due to abdominal pain, he was found positive. The other is a 35-year-old man. He works in an oil company in Visakhapatnam. Returned to Gwalior 20 days ago. He also got tested for stomach ache.
245 corona positives have been found in the state in 16 days. Average of 15 cases are being received daily. In these 16 days, the maximum number of 110 positives have come in Bhopal. On an average 7 cases are coming here daily. On Friday, 15 positives were found in Bhopal. Apart from this, 85 infected have been found in Indore in 16 days.
Positivity rate increased to 0.03%
So far 7 lakh 93 thousand 223 positives have been found in the state. Out of these, 7 lakh 82 thousand 553 patients have been cured. So far 10 thousand 528 people have lost their lives due to Corona. On Friday, 8 patients were cured. The positivity rate has increased to 0.03% in the state. The recovery rate is more than 98%.
Family came from Chhattisgarh to see Mahakal gets infected
Six people of the same family have been found corona positive in Rajnandgaon, Chhattisgarh. All returned to Rajnandgaon 15 days ago after seeing Mahakal in Ujjain. After leaving Ujjain everyone became ill. They were examined in Ujjain. After the report came positive on Friday, the Rajnandgaon administration has isolated everyone there. Two children are also among the infected.
The MP government has made a 3-T strategy to deal with the threat of the third wave of corona due to the new variant. Three-T's means testing, tracking and treatment. For this, the Health Department has issued an alert. In this, instructions have been given to compulsorily conduct genome sequencing of all patients who come positive in RT-PCR.

IAS Service Meet postponed
The IAS Service Meet has been postponed in view of the threat of Omicron. This meet was proposed in Bhopal from 17 to 19 December. It was to be inaugurated by Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan. Association President and Additional Chief Secretary IPC Kesari said that keeping in mind the possibility of spreading of a new variant of Corona, the decision has been taken to postpone the meet. Kesari had advised to postpone the event. In the last one month, the Health Department has been searching for about 100 people who have returned to Indore from foreign travel. The good thing is that 50 people who came from abroad have been screened. They have not been found infected with the coronavirus.
