6.74 beneficiaries benefitted through Swarozgar Yojana: Pathak


Chronicle Reporter, Bhopal With the aim of making self-employment to the state’s educated unemployed, maximum employment opportunities are being generated under Mukhya Mantri Yuva Udyami Yojana, Mukhya Mantri Swarozgar Yojana and Pradhan Mantri Rozgar Karyakram. Against the target of 7 lakh 50 thousand, nearly 6 lakh 74 thousand beneficiaries have received benefits from the various schemes in year 2017-18 in the state from the swarozgar schemes of MSME Department and the centre. Giving this information Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Sanjay-Satyendra Pathak told that a provision of Rs 476 crore has been made in the Mukhya Mantri Swarozgar Yojana and Yuva Udyami Yojana. Out of this Rs 280 crore has been provided for Mukhya Mantri Swarozgar Yojana and Rs 196 crore has been provided for Yuva Udyami Yojana. Similarly, Rs 167 crore will be spend for promoting MSMEs and Rs 72.60 crore will be spent for industrial infrastructure development. MoS Pathak told that swarozgar sammelans are being organized in all district headquarters to generate self-employment opportunities for beneficiaries in these schemes. He told that the maximum cost in Mukhya Mantri Yuva Udyami Pariyojana has been increased from Rs one crore to Rs two crore. Along with this, Mukhya Mantri Krishak Udyam Yojana has been introduced to assist children of farmers to set up new enterprises at a cost of Rs two crores.
