Bhopal- So far, bird flu has been confirmed in 32 districts in the state including Indore, Agar, Neemuch, Dewas, Ujjain, Khandwa, Khargone, Guna, Shivpuri, Rajgarh Shajapur, Vidisha, Datia, Ashoknagar, Barwani, Bhopal, Hoshangabad, Burhanpur, Chhindwara, Dindori, Mandla, Sagar, in ravens and wild birds and chickens in Jhabua, Harda, Mandsaur in Dhar, Satna, Panna, Balaghat, Sheopur, Chhatarpur and Raisen districts.
In the affected areas of Jhabua, Harda and Mandsaur districts, the process of culling and disease control of chickens has been completed. Culling of 10 birds has been done in Mandsaur district. So far the virus has been found in 3 thousand 777 crows and wild birds in the state. 440 samples have been sent from various districts of the state to the National High Security Veterinary Research Laboratory, Bhopal for examination. Every possible vigilance and caution is being taken for the control of bird flu disease in the entire state including the affected districts.
