CM Shivraj tells officials to buckle up for monsoonal fury


Bhopal, (UNI) Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan emphasised on Friday that arrangements to deal with excessive precipitation and consequent flooding should be promptly ensured in every district, meetings of disaster management committees conducted plus concrete calamity-handling planned besides groundwork for prevention/treatment of water-borne maladies. 

“It is imperative to exercise special care and precautions owing to the COVID-19 pandemic. Every protective measure must be taken after identifying adversity-prone areas and major dams reinforced. Reservoirs and sewage conduits located in flood-susceptible zones comprise a priority aspect; inspect ponds and drains,” the veteran leader was officially quoted as saying while issuing directives to functionaries.
