CM inspected facilities at Chaityabhoomi for Mahaparinirvana day


Mumbai, Dec 3 (UNI) Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde directed the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) to provide accommodation, food, medical and toilet facilities for the devotees coming to Chaityabhoomi on the occasion of Mahaparinirvana day on December 6.  

According to official press statement, Sinde visited Chaityabhoomi and Shivaji Park last evening and inspected the facilities provided by the municipal administration.

On this occasion, he also interacted with followers from different parts of the state. 

On the occasion of Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar's Mahaparinirvana day, lakhs of followers from all over the country visit the Chaityabhoomi of Dadar.

Various facilities are provided for them through Mumbai Municipal Corporation in Chaityabhoomi and localities.

After that he inspected the preparations at Chaityabhoomi. At the same time, he visited the BMC Gymkhana and inspected the food arrangements made for lakhs of followers.

Shinde also went to Shivaji Park and inspected the accommodation facility set up by the Municipal Corporation.
