Campion School Celebrates 55th Annual Day Function

On the theme of “Shades of Life” students performed Dances, various Songs, Cultural Dances, Skits, Dramas & Grand Finale

Campion School celebrated its 55th Annual Day Function today in the school premises amidst great zest, vibrancy and elation. Over 1000 students from the Secondary Section actively participated and made the function an enjoyable experience for all. On this Annual Day Function lot of Cultural programmes, Dances, English Plays, Hindi Skits, Dramas, Songs, Action Songs, etc. were presented by the students. Students are determined to show the various programmes on the Theme of “Shades of Life”. The programme started in the Evening; the Band Group of the School escorted the Chief Guest, Guests of Honour, and Father Principal. All the guests were accorded a floral welcome followed by the ceremonial lighting of the lamp done by the Chief Guest of the occasion Gaurav Rajput (Ex Campionite), IPS Home Secretary Govt. of Madhya Pradesh and Guest of Honour Nitin Saxena District Education Officer Bhopal, Provincial Superior Dr. Fr. Ranjit Tigga along with Principal Fr. Dr. Athnas Lakra S.J., Superior Fr. Kapil Xaxa S.J., Vice Principal Fr. Amritlal Toppo with Senior Teachers and other dignitaries. A melodious spiritual prayer song & Welcome Dance presented by the students  expressed the Bhakti Ras,  followed by (Dance drama)Shant Ras, two Hindi skits showed the Hasya & Karuna Ras, and the Kariyapattu Dance(Martial art) form performed by the students displayed the Veer Ras to the audience. English skit gave the message of Vatsalya Ras and in the Grand Finale Roudra Ras, Adbhut Ras & Shringar Ras highlighted the Annual Day celebration and give the audience a hard impact message. Play, Skit, dances, song, and anchoring are the activities that sharpen the students in their God-Gifted talents. Students are addressed by the chief guest and Guests of Honour. Current academic Session’s achievements through Slide show presentations were shared with the huge gathering. In the Awards & Prize Distribution ceremony, the Chief Guest and other dignitaries gave away prizes to the academically meritorious students of the school. As a token of Love Mementos were given to Chief Guest & Guests of Honour by Fr. Principal & Management members. The most attractive programme, in the end, was The Grand Finale, which consisted of more than 500 Students playing together different dances, skits, songs etc.  Before the Ending of the programme, The Vote of thanks was proposed by the School Captain Aditya Srivastava.
