Chouhan stops to have tea at roadside shop


Bhopal- Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan visited Jabalpur to participate in various programmes on Saturday. According to the scheduled programme, Chief Minister Chouhan left for the Vishram Bhawan after attending the programme organised at the Shaheed Smark Complex, Gol Bazaar. On the way, he stopped his vehicle at the Narmada tea stall at Shankaracharya Chowk, small line gate and expressed wish to have tea.

The owner of Narmada tea stall, Pappu Gupta, was pleasantly surprised on seeing Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan at his tea shop. Chief Minister Chouhan told Pappu Yadav that he wanted to have tea so he stopped at his shop. As per the wish of the Chief Minister, Pappu Gupta made flavoured tea and offered it to him. Chief Minister Chouhan had tea and paid for it himself. During the conversation, Chief Minister Chouhan enquired the tea stall owner about the well-being of his family. The Chief Minister Chouhan stopping suddenly at a tea stall and having tea became a centre of attraction for the local people. The Chief Minister interacted amicably with the people gathered there. This spontaneity of Chief Minister Chouhan makes him popular among the people of the state.

Chief Minister Chouhan asked Pappu Gupta, the owner of Narmada tea stall, if he had got the benefit of the Prime Minister's Swa-Nidhi Yojana. Encouraged by the caring attitude of the Chief Minister, Pappu said that not only has he got a loan of Rs 10 thousand under this scheme, but he has also repaid Rs 5 thousand out of the loan amount. So that he can get more loan amount next time.
