Cong MLA quits MP House

Bhopal, (UNI)

Madhya Pradesh’s crisis-ridden opposition Congress camp was again struck by hurricane-force political winds on Friday when its lawmaker Sumitra Devi Kasdekar – hitherto representing Burhanpur District’s Nepanagar – tendered her resignation from the Assembly.

Pro Tem Speaker Rameshwar Sharma accepted the papers and the Vidhan Sabha Secretariat declared the constituency in question as vacant.
