Congress has no poll issue: Tomar

Indore/Shivpuri, MP, (UNI) Raining fire on the Congress, Union Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar on Wednesday accused that party’s leaders of spewing unrestrained rhetoric and insults as they are bereft of issues vis-à-vis the Madhya Pradesh Assembly by-elections.

The central leader addressed public meetings in Shivpuri District’s Karera and Pohari constituencies besides Indore’s Sanwer.

“It was the state’s misfortune that the Congress ruled it during a 15-month interregnum that witnessed not even a vestige of development! In fact, numerous schemes were placed on the back-burner. The Bharatiya Janata Party played no role whatsoever in the decline and fall of the Congress dispensation that reneged on promises. In the pre-2003 period; every hamlet of Madhya Pradesh perpetually confronted vexation pertaining to roads, power and water,” the visiting politician alleged.
