Corona vaccination work going on smoothly in the state

Chronicle Reporter, Bhopal-Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that the work of Corona vaccination is going on smoothly in the state. In the first 2 days, 18 thousand people have been vaccinated at 150 centres in the state. All are healthy and there is no report of any kind of ‘side effect’ from anywhere.

Chief Minister Chouhan was reviewing the status of Corona and the work of Corona vaccination in the state through video conferencing today. Chief Secretary Iqbal Singh Bains, Director General of Police Vivek Johri and Additional Chief Secretary Health Mohammad Suleman were present in the meeting.

Average 80 new cases per day in Bhopal

In a district-wise review of Corona it was found that there is an average of 80 new cases per day in Bhopal. Indore has an average of 50 cases per day and Gwalior has 19 cases per day. In today’s new cases, 60 patients have reported positive in Bhopal, 38 in Indore, 26 in Jabalpur, 21 in Betul and 10 each in Khargone and Ratlam.

Vaccination for 4 days in a week

Corona vaccination is being done on 4 days in a week that is Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday in the state. On the first two days, on January 16 and 18, 18 thousand people were vaccinated and on January 20, six thousand people were vaccinated.
Four lakh 31 thousand more doses of vaccine received
Chief Minister Chouhan said that adequate doses of Corona vaccine have been received in the state. Earlier, the state had received 5 lakh 6 thousand doses of ‘Covishield’, now 4 lakh 31 thousand doses have been received.

450 centres to be set up in two weeks

Additional Chief Secretary Health Suleman said that currently, Corona vaccine is being installed at 150 vaccination centres in the state. Corona vaccination work will start in 450 health centres of the state in the coming two weeks.
