Door to door ration delivery in 89 tribal blocks; local youth will also benefit

Shivraj government has given a big gift to more than 23 lakh tribal families of the state. The Shivraj cabinet has approved the 'Ration Aapke Dwar' scheme in 89 tribal blocks (development blocks) of the state on Tuesday. The local tribal youths will also benefit from the scheme as they will be involved in the supply of the ration. At present, this scheme will not start in the by-election areas due to the implementation of the code of conduct.
Apart from this, the government has decided to give Rs 20,700 crore as subsidy to the companies to provide cheap electricity. In this, the government will give the subsidy of 15 thousand 700 crore for supplying cheap electricity to farmers and 5 thousand crore rupees in lieu of providing cheap electricity to the domestic consumers.
Government spokesperson Narottam Mishra said that to supply food grains from village to village via fair price ration shops, tribals would be given loans to buy vehicles. The government will also give incentive amount along with interest subsidy. Not only this, the person working in the scheme will also be given incentive amount every month. Apart from this, the amount will also be given separately for other expenses.
As many as 23.80 lakh families of the state will get the benefit of the proposed scheme. Under the scheme, the work of providing food grains to the beneficiaries of Public Distribution System living in 7500 villages is done through about 4.5 thousand fair price shops. The beneficiaries have to come from far and wide to get food grains.
Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan had announced the implementation of 'Ration Aapke Dwar' scheme in the programme organised on the occasion of Shankarshah- Raghunath Shah Martyrdom Day in Jabalpur on 18th September. Union Home Minister Amit Shah was also present in this. Narottam Mishra informed that the government will organize a big event in Bhopal on 15th November on Tribal Day.
 
Vehicles to be hired
According to the cabinet decision, vehicles will be given to tribal youth to deliver ration in the villages. To buy these vehicles, the youth will also be given a loan from the bank. Along with this, the government will also give incentive amount and interest subsidy. Apart from giving 10 thousand rupees to the vehicle owner, about 16 thousand rupees will be given for other expenses.
 
Clusters of 15 villages each will be formed
Under the scheme, clusters of 15 villages will be formed. Ration shops will be allotted to vehicles according to the distance. More than 500 youths will get benefit under the scheme. This will increase economic activities. For distribution of ration, the salesman will also go along in the vehicle.
 
Subsidy for cheap electricity to farmers and domestic users

The cabinet has approved the proposal of the Energy Department to provide subsidies in the new tariff rates of electricity issued by the Electricity Regulatory Commission on July 30, 2021. Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that it has been decided in the cabinet meeting that the government will give a subsidy of 20,700 crores to provide cheap electricity to different categories of farmers and domestic consumers. He said that the power supply should not be interrupted. For this the power company needed help.
