Fincare Small Finance bank forays into Bengal


Kolkata, Jan 24 (UNI) Private lender - Fincare Small Finance Bank - opened its first branch in West Bengal at the eastern metropolis on Tuesday.

It is the lender's 1124th branch across India. managing director and ceo Rajeev Yadav announced.

The Rs 15000 crore private banker, a digital fast-growing small finance bank, announced its plans to open two more branches in the state shortly.

"The bank is well-positioned to satisfy the banking needs of diverse customer segments offering a smart banking experience with modern tech, best-in-class products, services and competent workforce," claimed Yadav,

"The branch in Kolkata shall offer high-interest savings account, current account with Sweep in – Sweep out and QR-code facility, loans against gold, among other products. Customers can experience WhatsApp and Video banking in addition to regular banking channels. The Bank also offers transactions supported by Unified Payment Interface (UPI). The bank had adopted a “Smart Banking” approach that has made it a preferred provider of modern and convenient banking services across India”. he elaborated.

As of March 31, 2022, the bank served over 32 lakh customers in 19 states/UT and has a workforce of 12,000 plus, he added.
