Guna attack: Kamal Nath flays MP Govt

Bhopal, May 14 (UNI) Madhya Pradesh's principal-opposition Congress roasted the state's BJP dispensation on the law-and-order front in the wake of the martyrdom of three police personnel – including an officer – during an encounter with poachers in Guna district on Saturday. “The announcement that mafias would be buried has proved to be a load of hot air! Why is criminals' morale so high? Where is the person responsible for this? The regime has become habituated to waking up after every incident. At this juncture, all types of mafias are operating – land, forest, liquor and sand,” Congress state President and erstwhile chief minister Kamal Nath wrote in social media. While demanding Home Minister Narottam Mishra's resignation, the Assembly's Leader of the Opposition Govind Singh alleged, “The law and order situation is ceaselessly deteriorating but the government is busy delivering speeches.”
