New Delhi, All India Hindu Mahasabha has demanded the Union government to ban the Tablighi Jamaat for allegedly spreading corona virus deliberately as per a well thought out conspiracy.
The Mahasabha also demanded an end to all the activities and programmes of the Jamaat by declaring it illegal and unconstitutional.
National Vice President of the Mahasabha Gagan Bhatia and National Spokesperson Acharya Pankaj Sharma in a statement here on Tuesday claimed that the programme organised by the Jamaat in Delhi was without permission of the government and that the Jamaat did not intimate the government regarding the presence of foreign delegates in the programme.
They said that at a time when most parts of the world is reeling under the Covid-19 pandemic, the Jamaat did not think it necessary to get the participants who number more than 2000 tested for Corona virus.
The Mahasabha leaders alleged that the acts of not getting the delegates tested and concealing the participation of foreign delegates from the government hints at a well planned conspiracy to spread the corona virus in India.
The Mahasabha members claimed that the Tablighis by way of travelling across various regions of the country have infected as many as 26,000 people.
They further alleged that the Delhi government and the intelligence agencies by not revealing information regarding the participation of delegates from across India and abroad have cheated the people and undermined the law of the land.
They demanded a complete ban on the activities of the Tablighi Jamaat and arrest of all its members and seizure of all its assets. The Mahasabha has also written to the Prime Minister and the Home Minister conveying their point of view.
