IAS Jangid replies to notice to GDA

IAS Lokesh Kumar Jangid, who came into the controversy of the 2014 batch, has sent his seven-page reply to the General Administration Department.
In the reply given to the General Administration Department, he has given an explanation by denying the allegations leveled against him. It is significant that after the disputes, the General Administration Department had issued a show cause notice to Lokesh and sought a reply within seven days. The General Administration Department has issued a notice to the young IAS Lokesh Kumar Jangid, who has created a stir in the administrative and political circles of Madhya Pradesh for the last one week after his post on social media and telephonic discussion with senior officers went viral. In fact, it was alleged that Jangid made viral his conversation with Deepti Gaur Mukherjee, Principal Secretary, General Administration Department, on 31 May 2021.

Presented an explanation denying allegations
In response, Lokesh has said that he did not make any such conversation, which comes under the category of privacy, viral, but it was an official conversation which had become viral to the general public that he was transferred from Barwani to the State Education Center. And therefore he is not accused of breach of confidentiality. Along with this, Jangid has also clarified that he had given this whole incident to some of his batch mates to explain that he was transferred from Barwani. Not due to any reason but it has happened normally at the administrative level. In his reply, Jangid has given several examples of the Indian Telegraphic Act and the Civil Services Act along with the orders of the Supreme Court and has presented a clarification by denying the allegations leveled against him through these.

 Raised question on service rule also
Notably, during the period of 3 years of service of IAS Jangid in Madhya Pradesh, he had been transferred 8 times. Recently, after a dispute with the Collector, he has been removed from the post of SDM Barwani and posted in the State Education Center Bhopal. Regarding this matter, he made many allegations in the authorized WhatsApp group of the IAS Association, calling his bathing swimming as malicious. At the same time, apart from questioning the service rule, he had asked to reveal many facts by writing a book after retirement.
