Indore’s sapna Bar razed

Indore: Sapna Bar, which came into the limelight after the deaths due to consumption of poisonous liquor, was demolished on Monday. Additional Commissioner of Municipal Corporation said that Sapna Bar was constructed illegally. Apart from this, seven constructions built on the land of Shri Hatkeshwar Mahadev Temple in Piplyarao area worth about Rs 5 crore have also been demolished. The colonizer had occupied the land here.
As part of the campaign against the land mafia in the state, the team of district administration, police and municipal corporation took joint action in the Marimata area on Monday. The information about the action was given to the police in the night itself.
In July 2021, 6 people died after drinking spurious liquor at Sapna Bar. In this case, Collector Manish Singh had taken action against the bar owner Vikas Barediya under NSA. Since then Vikas is in jail.
Vikas's father Gopal used to run this bar earlier, but after some time it was closed. It started again about 5 years ago. Recently, the names of Hemu and Chintu Thakur were revealed in the case of firing on liquor businessman Arjun, both of them are believed to be close to Vikas. Vikas had also built the colony in Shivkanth Colony in partnership with Hemu and Chintu.
