Janata curfew defies IIT Kanpur forecast

  •  Continuous decrease in positive cases

Bhopal: Home Minister Dr. Narottam Mishra has informed that there has been a continuous decrease in positive cases since last 8 days due to self-imposed -Janata curfew- in rural areas of Madhya Pradesh and -Corona curfew- in urban areas. With the support of the public, the forecast given by IIT Kanpur that Corona Peak will remain on May 1 has been denied by the efforts made by the public and the government. He said that soon we will be shown as a model state for the country.
Dr. Mishra said that in relation to Corona, Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan has reviewed again today. 12 thousand 389 new positive cases have been registered, while 14 thousand 562 patients have returned to their homes after recovering. There has been a decrease of 2285 cases in the active cases of the state. Madhya Pradesh has been ranked 14th in the country. There are 88 thousand active cases in the state today. Today, the most 60 thousand tests have also been done to check the corona. Now there is no problem related to oxygen in the state. Tomorrow, 503 metric tonnes of oxygen will be supplied to the state.
Dr. Mishra informed that there has been a decrease of about 10 thousand in the last eight days in the active cases in the state. This reduction has been possible due to public awareness along with the efforts being made by the government, because the people themselves have imposed the public curfew. We will succeed in breaking the corona chain. Under the efforts and guidance of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan, we will show this by doing so.
