Khargone in MP records highest max temp of 43.2 deg C

Agencies, Pune, Day temperatures were appreciably above normal in some parts of Assam and Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura and Kerala and above normal in some parts West Bengal and Sikkim, Odisha, Saurashtra and Kutch, Konkan and Goa, Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada, Rayalseema, Tamil Nadu. Day temperatures were appreciably below normal in some parts of Uttar Pradesh, Haryana and below normal in some parts of Bihar, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and Telangana. They were normal over rest parts of the region. The highest maximum temperature of 43.2°C was recorded at Khargone (west Madhya Pradesh).


Rain or Thundershowers observed were at many places over Arunachal Pradesh and at a few places over Assam and Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura and Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim and at isolated places over Odisha, Madhya Maharashtra, Marathawada, Vidarbha, Chhattisgarh, coastal Andhra Pradesh and Yanam, Telangana and North Interior Karnataka.


Thunderstorms observed were observed at isolated places over Assam and Meghalaya and Tripura.


Thunderstorm accompanied with lightning very likely at isolated places over Arunachal Pradesh, Assam and Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Vidarbha, Marathwada, east Madhya Pradesh, Odisha and Gangetic West Bengal during next 24 hours.


Rain have occurred at a few places in Arunachal Pradesh and at isolated places in Assam and Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim, Odisha, Vidarbha, Chhattisgarh, Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada, coastal Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, north Interior Karnataka and Kerala. Mainly dry weather has prevailed in Gangetic West Bengal, Jharkhand, Bihar, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat state, Konkan and Goa, Rayalaseema, Tamil Nadu and coastal and south interior Karnataka.
