MP ranks first in 30th center karate


Bhopal. Like every year, in collaboration with Department of Youth Welfare and Sports and Railway Institute, 30th Center India Karate Competition was organized by Youth Sports Karate Do Association MP on 18th and 19th June 2022 at Badminton Hall of Railway Institute. Center states including MP participated in the said competition in which about 432 players participated.
The Chief Referee of the said competition was Grand Master Shoke Saeed Sheikh and the referees were Ritesh Tiwari, Shihan Shahwaz Sheikh, Saeed Khan, Sunderlal, Ramesh Bhandare, Ikram Qureshi, Rajendra Khandale.
Chief guest Mr. Jose Chonko, Deputy Director, Youth Welfare and Sports Department, MP and special guest Mr. Anand Prakash Shukla, Secretary, WC Rail Institute, Bhopal and guests Dinesh Joshi, Jaychandra Kanojia, Salim Khan, Ayaz Ansari, Amin Sir, Shyam Sir. and there were other guests.
In the said competition, MP secured first position with 36 medals and Maharashtra secured second position with 32 medals and other states had to be satisfied with Santavana award. In the said competition, Deputy Director Mr. Jose Choco was honored with Lifetime Sports Award for sports service. The selected players from the above competition will participate in the World Karate Championship.
