MPHRC officials inspect Anganwadi center, express satisfaction over facilities 


Bhopal: Chairman of Madhya Pradesh Human Rights Commission (MPHRC), Justice Shri Narendra Kumar Jain and Member Sarabjit Singh reached Udaipur Raiyat village of Punasa in Khandwa district on Tuesday. They also inspected ICDS Center No.01 Adarsh Anganwadi Pre-Nursery School there. After visiting the Adarsh ??Anganwadi Center, the commission officials expressed satisfaction over all the facilities and arrangements available for pregnant and lactating women, children between 0 to 6 years and school dropouts. District officers and employees of Women and Child Development Department including officers of district administration Khandwa were present on this occasion.
In this center, 18 pregnant women, 09 lactating women, 105 children in the age group of 0 to 6 years and 02 children from the age group of 11 to 14 years are registered. All the arrangements in the Anganwadi Center were found to be smooth. In the center, the children are given food according to the menu under the Common Chulha Scheme. Here children are also given cleanliness and moral education. Here baby shower is celebrated on the first Tuesday, Annaprashan on the second Tuesday, birthday on the third Tuesday and Kishori Diwas on the fourth Tuesday.
Apart from the departmental officers, the commission officials also held intimate discussions with the women and children lodged in the Anganwadi center and took feedback about the arrangements made here. All the women and children appreciated the arrangements of the center and expressed their happiness.
