Monsoon session of MP Vidhan Sabha will start from July 25. This will last for five days. In this, the government will present the first supplementary estimate (budget) for the financial year 2022-23.
The notification for the monsoon session of the MP Vidhan Sabha may be issued in two-three days, so that the legislators get enough time to give notices of questions, calling attention, petitions and zero hour. During the session the Finance Department will present the first supplementary estimates for the current financial year. It is likely to be more than five thousand crore rupees. Madhya Pradesh Municipal Law Amendment and Land Revenue Code Amendment Bills will also be introduced. The process of election of three-tier (village, district and district) panchayat and urban body in the state will be completed on July 18. A week later, the monsoon session of the Vidhan Sabha will begin. In this, provision will be made mainly for the works of infrastructure development. Along with this, an amendment bill will be introduced in place of the amendment made through an ordinance in the Madhya Pradesh Municipal Law Act to conduct the election of the mayor directly through the public. At the same time, a bill will be introduced in place of the amendment made through an ordinance in the Land Revenue Code for the provision of setting up a bench in the Madhya Pradesh Revenue Board.
