Officials should work on a strategy to prevent corona outbreak

Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has asked the officers to work under a well-planned strategy to prevent the outbreak of Corona and provide best treatment to victims. He said that it is necessary that available resources are used judiciously. Chouhan was reviewing the situation and arrangements for prevention and treatment of Corona virus infected people through video conferencing.

Chief Minister Chouhan said that all possible measures should be taken to prevent the effect of Corona in all districts including Indore and Bhopal. Chouhan also inquired about the status of lockdown in various districts of the state. The Chief Minister directed the officers to ensure strict adherence to the lockdown in all the concerned districts. He said that for this it is necessary to review the status of lockdown daily. Continuous dialogue should be maintained with all the districts. Chouhan said that the concerned district administration must take strict steps as per the need so that the situation remains under control.

The Chief Minister said that it is necessary that the picture should be completely clear, so that the administration can ensure the required action in time as expected. Chief Minister Chouhan said that apart from the big cities of the state, the condition of Shivpuri, Khargone, Morena, Barwani, Vidisha and Raisen districts should be constantly monitored. Chief Secretary Iqbal Singh Bains said that there is no difficulty regarding the essential commodities etc.

The Chief Minister also called for details about sampling and testing. During the video conferencing, it was decided to increase the lab capacity of Corona testing in the state. Chouhan said that the prescribed guidelines in the sample collection should be taken care of. Serious patients should be kept in dedicated hospitals only. Additional Chief Secretary Health Mohammed Suleman was also present in the video conference.
