Oxford launches book on nCoV

New Delhi, (UNI)

The Oxford Book Store, in collaboration with Penguin, on Wednesday launched a book on Novel Coronavirus, which gives detailed knowledge about the virus and it's global outbreak.

The book, 'The Corona Virus : What you need to know about the global pandemic', arguably is the first book on the dreaded virus and is jointly authored by three medical practitioners - internal medicine specialist Dr Swapnil Parikh, neuropsychiatrist Dr Rajesh M Parikh and psychologist-cum-medical researcher Dr Maherra Desai.

The book attempts to debunk the myths associated with the virus and brings together the shattered pieces of information together. It gives the brief history of COVID-19, it's transmission and what one needs to do, if he is infected with the virus.

The well-researched work is a homage to the courage, selflessness and dedication of the healthcare workers of the world, who are working ceaselessly to control the pandemic.
