COVID-19 count reaches 85,970 On Saturday, the number of coronavirus-infected patients in the capital crossed 1000 mark. The total number of infected patients on Friday evening was 961. The number has risen to 1006 after 45 new patients were confirmed on Saturday. So far, 633 coronavirusinfected patients have recovered. There are 373 active patients. 35 people have also died.
The first case in the capital came to light on March 22, when a student who returned from London was confirmed to have an infection. After this, the report of the girl’s father also came positive. On May 16, the figure crossed the thousand on the 55th day. The most infected patients in the capital are 230 from Jahangirabad area. Among the new positives in Bhopal is a PG student of AIIMS Bhopal and a doctor, residing at Rishipuram, Khaujri Kalan.
The new positive cases in other districts include 4 in Jabalpur, 3 in Mandsaur, 2 each in Tikamgarh and Betul and one in Vidisha. A woman, resident of Lateri in Vidisha, has ested positive, while in Tikamgah two sisters have tested positive. 32 discharged from Chirayu As many as 32 people were discharged from Bhopal’s Chirayu hospital on Saturday.
