Positivity rate declines to 10 pc, 79 more succumb in state

There is a continuous decrease in the number of positive cases in Madhya Pradesh. 7,016 new positive cases have been found in 24 hours. The positivity rate is reduced to 10% after 42 days. On April 2, it stood at 10.4%. It had reached 25% in early May. According to the latest report of the Health Department, on May 15, less than 50 cases were registered in 18 districts out of 52 including Datia, Bhind, Morena, Ashoknagar and Guna.
The total infected in the state has been 7 lakh 31 thousand 385. Out of this, 6 lakh 29 thousand 541 have been cured by beating the infected corona. So far, 6 thousand 992 deaths have been reported from the corona in the state. It also includes 79 deaths on 15 May. There have been 1,180 deaths from Corona in the 15 days of May.
To prevent corona here, the corona curfew is being extended even after one month in many districts. The Crisis Management Committee has decided to increase the Corona curfew on Sunday, May 31 in Neemuch and May 31 in Hoshangabad.
In Madhya Pradesh, the number of active cases has come down to 94 thousand 652. According to the latest report of the Health Department, 1487 new infections have been detected in Indore, 982 in Bhopal, 387 in Gwalior and 452 in Jabalpur. Bhopal and Indore recorded the highest deaths of 8-8 in the last 24 hours in the state. 6 people in Gwalior and 4 in Jabalpur lost their lives due to corona.

Less than 1 thousand new cases in Bhopal
Less than 1 thousand infected have arrived in Bhopal after 33 days. Earlier, on April 11, 824 infected were found. In the last 15 days, 2,323 more positive cases were received from those recovering in Bhopal. At the same time, Gwalior and Jabalpur have more number of people who beat Corona than new infected.

9 lakh 18 thousand tests conducted in 15 days
In the 15 days of May, 9 lakh 18 thousand 228 sample tests were conducted in the state. This is 80 thousand 190 more than the test conducted in the first 15 days of April. Between 1 and 15 April 8 lakh 38 thousand 38 sample tests were conducted. A total of 13 lakh 93 thousand 927 sample test reports were released in the month of April.
Crisis management groups have been formed in 313 development blocks and 50 thousand 546 villages of the state. Ward level crisis management committees have been constituted in 407 local bodies and 7 thousand 568 wards in urban areas. Portal is being updated. Steam centers have also been arranged in the districts out of which 2 thousand 158 steam centres are operational in 46 districts. In view of protection against Corona virus, orders have been issued to suspend the interstate bus transport service between Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh state and Madhya Pradesh state till May 23. The Union Minister of State, Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers has been urged to allocate at least 24 thousand Amphotericin B-50mg medicine to the state for the treatment of black fungus.
