Republic Day celebrated in schools, colleges with gaiety

Republic Day was celebrated in schools, colleges and other organizations amid the ongoing Covid wave.
Campion School, Bhopal celebrated India's 73rd Republic Day with a great deal of patriotic zeal. The event took place on January 26, on the school premises. All the teachers from secondary and primary took pride in glorifying and celebrating the spirit of unity under the guidelines of the government for Covid19. The school echoed with patriotic fervour. They sang patriotic songs and even wore tri-coloured clothes to mark the occasion. The day began with the honour of Indian tricolour Flag Unfurling by Principal Dr. Fr. Athnas Lakra SJ followed by the National Anthem. Salute command was given by commanding officer Mr. Johnsy Koshy whereas Asst. School Captain Master Tushar Aswani was taken the Pledge to all the school staff. The entire school courtyard reverberated with the rhythmic Patriotic Song sung by Secondary section teachers like Aao Mukt Kanth se sab jan Bhoomandal ka gaye gaayan, Sare jaha se accha, Aye mere pyare watan etc. The Speech was given by School Captain Master Anushthan Purohit.  A very inspiring speech was given by the Teacher from the Primary Section Mrs.Ann Mary D’souza. To mark the importance of the day Manager Fr. Christdhari Kujur SJ, Vice Principal Fr. ALok Toppo SJ, Bursar Fr. Blacius Kullu SJ, Headmistress Sister Maria Lavita A.C., with other sisters and all the teachers from primary & secondary sections, were also present on this occasion. Vote of thanks was given by Prefect Nehru House Master Shashwat Sahu.
