Schools from class 1 to 5 will open from Sep 20

In all government and non-government schools of the state, the primary level classes from class I to V will be conducted from September 20 with 50% capacity. Deputy Secretary, School Education Department Pramod Singh informed that this decision has been taken keeping in view the instructions of Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan and the circumstances of Covid-19 infection in the state. Shri Singh informed that hostels and residential schools will be run for 100% students of class VIII, X and XII. Schools and hostels will also be opened for class XI students, but not more than 50 percent of their total strength will be present in the hostel. Students will be able to attend the school and hostel only with the consent of the parents.
Singh informed that the consent of the District Disaster Management Committee would be taken regarding the opening of schools, hostels and residential schools in the districts. SOPs issued from time to time by the Government of India and State level in schools and hostels. And the Covid-19 protocol will be followed. Online classes and digital medium of students will be conducted as before.
