Shivraj distributes responsibilities among ministers


Bhopal, July 13 (UNI) The much-awaited allocation of portfolios – a hitherto red-hot subject of discussion within political corridors and the Fourth Estate alike – was finally effectuated by Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan on Monday.

It was officially learnt that the senior politician retained the Public Relations, General Administration, Narmada Valley Development, Aviation and every other department not allocated to any member of his Council.

Dr Narottam Mishra will look after Home, Jail, Parliamentary Affairs and Law.

Mr Gopal Bhargava – Public Works, Cottage and Rural Industries.

Mr Tulsiram Silawat – Water Resources, Fishermen Welfare and Fisheries.
