Showers to continue across state as another system develops

Monsoon has brought good news in Madhya Pradesh. Due to the strong system formed in the Bay of Bengal, now the expectation of good rains has increased across the state during the next 24 hours. Showers will continue for two to three days. After strong sunshine on Monday morning in the capital Bhopal, suddenly heavy rainfall occurred and dark clouds covered the city skies.
Meteorologist PK Saha said that for the past few days, it has been raining in the same way amidst the sunshine and shade. During the next 24 hours, apart from Bhopal, there will be light to moderate rain at isolated places over Bairagarh, Raisen, Hoshangabad, Pachmarhi and Khandwa, while moderate to heavy showers are expected across the state. During the last 24 hours, maximum rainfall occurred in Agar up to 7.5 cm and in Chhindwara 5 cm rainfall was recorded. Apart from this, rain was also recorded at other places.
Heavy rains likely in 22 dists: The Meteorological Department has predicted heavy rains in 22 districts of the state during the next 24 hours. There will be good rains in Sehore, Rajgarh, Betul, Alirajpur, Ratlam, Ujjain, Dewas, Neemuch, Mandsaur, Singrauli, Sidhi, Anuppur, Shahdol, Umaria, Dindori, Katni, Jabalpur, Narsinghpur, Chhindwara, Seoni, Balaghat and Mandla districts.
Light rainfall expected in Bhopal, Indore: There is a possibility of light rain at isolated places in Bhopal, Indore, Jabalpur, Shahdol, Sagar, Rewa, Ujjain, Gwalior and Chambal divisions. Apart from this, it will rain all over the state.
Another weather system is also developing: Meteorologist PK Saha said that the rainy season will continue. From the present system, the rainfall will continue till 15 or 16 September. After this, from September 17, a new system will also be made. Due to which good rains have been expected across the state continuously for the next 8 days.
More than 5 cm rainfall was recorded at many places: 7.5 cm of rainfall occurred in Agar city and Jhirnya in Khargone, while Depalpur in Indore, Kumbhraj in Guna and Raipura in Panna recorded 6 cm each. It rained up to 5 cm in Shamshabad of Chhindwara, Vidisha, Benibari of Anuppur city. While Varla of Barwani, Chanderi of Ashoknagar, Garoth of Mandsaur, Jaitpur of Sheopur Kalan, Khalwa of Khandwa, Pandhana, Raisen city, Neemuch city, Chhindwara, Powai of Panna, Lanji of Balaghat, Gadkota of Sagar, Deori, Shahgarh , Damoh's Patera, Tendukheda recorded 2.5 cm each of rainfall.
Light rain occurred at isolated places in Bhopal, Naugaon, Shajapur, Jabalpur, Damoh, Gwalior, Tikamgarh, Betul, Khajuraho, Rajgarh, Bhopal city, Seoni and Umaria. Water fell in most areas of the state.
