Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Monday visited the places where the Bhoomi pujan programme would be held on August 5 and reviewed the preparation, including security and steps to contain spread of Covid-19.

He ordered strict surveillance of Covid during the function.

"We've made all arrangements to ensure that there is no laxity on any count. Main focus is on COVID-19. The protocol has to be enforced very strictly. Only those who are invited should come here. All devotees want to come but PM will represent all of them," Mr Yogi said while talking to reporters after holding meeting with the officials.
