AAP invite to contest assembly polls


Aspirants can download form from AAP website and apply for candidacy

Chronicle Reporter, Bhopal The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has launched the process of selection of candidates for the forthcoming assembly elections. The party launched a form on its website on Wednesday. Any person can apply to contest on AAP ticket after providing the necessary information asked in the form. AAP state convener and national spokesman Alok Agrawal gave this information in a press conference. The entire process of selection of candidate was explained through projector. It was explained how to go to website and information about link etc was provided. Half an hour video interview of Alok Agrawal was also released in which he expressed his views on various topics. Giving information about Kisan Bachao, Badlav Lao (Save farmers, bring change) Yatra, Agrawal said Rajya Sabha MP and senior party leader Sanjay Singh will participate in the yatra on April 13 at Mandsaur’s Pipaliya Mandi from where the yatra will kick-start. On April 15, Rajya Sabha MP Sushil Gupta will also join the yatra. Agrawal said corruption is at its peak in the state. About 70 per cent children in the state are anaemic. 45 per cent kids are malnourished. Nearly five farmers are committing suicide daily. The power is being sold at the rate of Rs 7 to 8 per unit  which is highest in the country. The people are facing acute shortage of drinking water. The youths are frustrated due to rising unemployment. The atrocities on women are increasing. So a change in regime is the need of the hour, the AAP leader added.
