The monsoon is over. The rains and deficient in the Madhya Pradesh. Despite initially heavy rains the beginning could not fill up many water bodies like Bhoj Sagar and Kerwa Dam of Capital Bhopal. The plight and problem of the agriculture sector is to provide water fields as the crops now need irrigation urgently some irrigation pumps operate on diesel and the diesel is becoming costly on regular basis. The Government must ensure irrigation to farmers at this hour when seeding has started in the crops. The Narmada water supply in the capital is eratic and many localities and not setting water at all.The State Government before the advent of monsoon launched the scheme of talabs in every villages. Still it is not known how may new talab were dug up and having water. Crops require urgent water supply.
