The fourth foundation day of All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Bhopal was observed with a lot of fervour and ecstasy. A cultural event was organized at AIIMS auditorium here on Saturday.
The director of AIIMS Professor Nitin M Nagarkar inaugurated the programme with lighting of the lamp. To begin with the programme, Professor Nagarkar addressed the audience. He said that AIIMS Bhopal is providing all the possible facilities to its patients at its best. He then presented the annual report of the hospital.
Celebrating the foundation day, the students of AIIMS medical college gave spontaneous performances back-to-back. The performances were presented beautifully on stage before the audience. The hard-work put in by the students was much appreciated by the audience.
On the occasion, Tele Fellowship Facility was introduced at the Telemedicine Centre of AIIMS. Besides, an E-Library for the students was also inaugurated by professor Nagarkar.
The welcome speech of the programme was addressed by Dean (academics) Professor Rajesh Malik and deputy director (administration department) Professor Santosh Sohgaura.
On the occasion, Dean (Research) Professor Neelkamal Kapoor, Dean (Students’ Welfare Department) Professor SK Goyal, Professor Bal Krishna, examination in-charge, directors of various departments, doctors and faculty members of various departments were present. Further, Superintendent Engineer Hitesh Kejriwal, Commandant PK Mishra, senior administration officer Gaurav Diwedi and others were present.
