Aim of “Sabka Saath – Sabka Vikas” is to connect all sections to the mainstream


Governor Smt. Patel takes governing body meeting of Dr. Ambedkar Social Science University

Chronicle Reporter, Bhopal Addressing the second governing body meeting of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Social Science University, Mhow Governor Smt. Anandiben Patel said that development is possible only by moving ahead along with all the sections of the society including Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribes and Backward Classes. The Prime Minister’s slogan of Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas is the development of all sections and an effort to connect them to the mainstream. Governor Smt. Patel said that the Centre and the state governments are working towards upliftment,educational development, skill development and in the field of social justice for the Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and Other Backward Classes. Through skill development the talents of youths from the lower level is being nurtured and job opportunities are being made available to them. The Governor said that the participation of Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Other Backward Classes, women and children should be ensure in social justice, economic empowerment and nation building by the Vishwavidyalaya as per the vision of Bharat Ratna Dr. Baba Saheb Bhimrao Ambedkar. Camps should be organized to create awareness in these areas for women empowerment, stopping child marriage, examining health of students, cleanliness campaign and construction of toilets. Governor Smt. Patel gave directions to initiate research and projects on topics including environment, sustainable development, women empowerment, child protection etc. During the meeting detailed information was given by the Vishwavidyalaya about community leadership and sustainable development being undertaken under Chief Minister’s Community Leadership Building Programme. Additional Chief Secretary Higher Education Shri B.R. Naidu, Principal Secretary to the Governor Dr. M. Mohan Rao, Principal Secretary Scheduled Caste Welfare Shri S.N. Mishra and other Vishwavidyalaya officials were present during the meeting. Registrar of the Vishwavidyalaya Dr. H.S. Tripathi presented the agenda.
