AIMA organized singing competition


Chronicle Reporter, Bhopal All India Malayalee Association, MP Chapter has been organizing the singing competition AIMA voice to promote the talent of Malayalam language singers across the nation. Association’s MP chapter had organized the state level competitions at SN Mission Hall, Old Subhash Nagar, Bhopal on Sunday the 8th of this month. More than 40 contestants from across the state had participated in the contest. The winners of state level competitions were presented with Trophies and certificates. Competition was held in various age categories, viz 10-15 years, 16-25 years and 26 and above had given their singing talent. The winners were junior segment 10-15 years. Ku. Vaghadheeswari, 2. Soumya Nair, 3. Master Nitish Satheesan, 4. Ku. Aswathy Shibu. Senior segment 16-25 years 1. Ku. Malavika Pillai, 2. Ku. Rajashree Raghu, 3. Ku. Jenny Thomas, 4. Ma. Shaleen Panicker. Super Senior segment 26 and above. 1. Ms. Savitha Kizhakkethu, 2. Shri Rahul Raghu, 3. Shri Sateesh Babu, 4. Shri P.G. Sreenivasan. The northern regional level competitions will be held on 29 of April at Delhi, and the finals will be held in Kochi on 26-27th May. The first, second the third winners will be felicitated with cash awards of Rs. 1.00 lakh, Rs. 50,000/- and Rs. 25,000/- each respectively along with trophies and certificates.
