Ajay writes to PM to ensure guilty are brought to book

Preeti suicide case

Chronicle Reporter, Bhopal Leader of Opposition Ajay Singh has urged the Prime Minister Narendra Modi to ensure the culprits of Preeti Raghuvanshi suicide are brought to book. He said the PM’s statement that the guilty would not be spared with reference to Kathua and Unnal incidents must be implemented in Madhya Pradesh as well where minister Rampal Singh and his son, responsible for suicide by Preeti Raghuvanshi, are roaming free even almost a month after the incident. He asked why Shivraj government is not taking any action against the guilty. Singh has written to PM Modi giving full details of the Preeti Raghuvanshi suicide case. He said the police have been only acting to shield Rampal Singh. He said the statements of Preeti Raghuvanshi’s family members have been recorded but even the statements of minister Rampal Singh and his son have not been recorded. The Congress leader said Preeti Raghuvanshi’s brother was abducted in collusion with police and he was released after four days. Bhopal IG met Rampal Singh at his bungalow but no senior official thought it necessary to meet Preeti Raghuvanshi’s family, Singh wrote.
