AP CM and TDP boss Chandra Babu Naidu phone Mamata, Telangana CM to call on Bengal CM

Kolkata, Speculation for a grand anti-BJP alliance across India before the 2019 Parliamentary elections is gaining momentum with the scheduled official meeting of Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao and his West Bengal counterpart Mamata Banerjee here a few hours from now. The all important meeting is seen as a major step forward towards an Opposition unity, barely a day after Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu spoke to AITC supremo on phone. All India Trinamool Congress (AITC) sources today said Telugu Desam Party (TDP) president N Chandrababu Naidu spoke to party supremo Mamata Banerjee to convey his good wishes and on the future move of the TDP against the BJP-led NDA government at the Centre. Incidentally the TDP today moved no-motion confidence motion against the Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led NDA Government in Parliament. Ms Banerjee, who has been vociferously opposing the Modi government right from 2014 and led campaign against GST, noteban, Nity Aayog and various issues related to AADHAR CARD, has already welcomed the Telugu Desam Party's decision to quit the NDA. She also urged all opposition parties to work closely together against "atrocities, economic calamities and political instability", let loose ballegedly by the BJP government.
