Banganga residents face water shortage

5/3/2018

Chronicle Reporter, Bhopal Residents of Banganga in Ward 25 are facing acute shortage of drinking water for the last one month. Residents said they get supply for only 10 to 15 minutes. They do not get enough water for their needs in such short time. Residents said they have complained to the public representatives on many occasions but to no avail. The water problem is so acute that residents collect water from a minor leakage in the colony all day long. It takes nearly half-an-hour to fill one bucket water from the leakage. There was no contact with corporator Saroj Jain when an attempt was made to talk with her. However, her husband Rakesh Jain said that he had complained to the concerned officials many times and also submitted a memo to the mayor. But the situation remained unchanged. Zone No. 6 assistant engineer (water supply) did not answer to the calls made on his mobile.
