Bhavantar Bhugtan Yojana becomes a strong medium for farmers’ welfare

1/17/2018

Chronicle Reporter, Bhopal Ever since Bhavantar Bhugtan Yojana has been launched in Madhya Pradesh, farmers are free from the tension of facing losses in farming. Even if there is a bumper crop or even if the farmers do not need crop insurance, farmers would still worry about low prices in the mandi but now this will not be so. State’s Bhavantar Bhugtan Yojana will continue to free farmers from the tension of low prices. Farmer Babulal of Pankuan village of Udainagar teshil in Dewas district has two pieces of land one of 48 bigha and the other of 12 bigha. He had grown soybean on 48 bighas and maize on 12 bigha land. From this he had a crop of nearly 60 quintal soyabean and 225 quintal maize. When Babulal went to the mandi to sell his produce the trader purchased it on his own fixed rate. This was the process being repeated for the last several years. This year however, Babulal saw a great change in the mandi. This change was “Bhavantar” Bhavantar Bhugtan Yojana under which he had got himself registered in October-November. He got to see the benefit of this registration this year. The difference amount of the price of the produce was deposited in his account. Depositing the remaining amount after what the trader gave the farmer makes it clear that Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan is a Krishak Mitra Mukhya Mantri.According to Babulal the farmers have the capacity to feed the entire country. Bhavantar Bhugtan Yojana has strengthened the farmers financially.
