BJP is using Rs 2,000 notes to influence Karnataka polls: Ajay


Agencies, Bhopal Launching a stinging attack on the Bharatiya Janata Party, Madhya Pradesh Assembly’s Leader of the Opposition Ajay Singh today alleged that the BJP is using Rs 2,000 notes for influencing Karnataka assembly elections. In a statement issued here today, Mr Singh said that Rs 2,000 notes are falling short in supply in the market because the BJP was using it in a massive manner to affect Karnataka assembly polls. Reacting to Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan’s statement that a conspiracy is behind Rs 2,000 notes missing from circulation, he said, “What is the Centre and the state government doing if that is the case? Who would expose the conspiracy. Currency circulation has come down in the country, public is confronting problems and the Chief Minister is trying to hide failure by making undue statements.”
