BSNL women welfare organization’s Yoga Centre opens


Chronicle Reporter, Bhopal The new president of Doorsanchar Mahila Kalyan Sangathan, BSNL Madhya Pradesh, Alka Shukla, conducting the first welfare activity, inaugurated the Yoga Centre at Char Imli’s P&T Officer Enclave. Indian Yoga Institute state president Mohanlal was present on the occasion. Speaking on the occasion Alka Shukla said Yoga has a special role in today’s life full of tension. She said Yoga means unity or tying. In common language it is a means to balance the mind and emotions and establishing harmony. Yoga is helpful in the treatment of not only physical but also mental conditions. Yoga is a successful alternative for treatment of all types of ailments. Mohanlal said Yoga asans should be performed with stability and purity of mind and the thoughts should be focused on self and not on outside world. Daily routine and control on diet would be helpful in getting benefits of the Yoga. Trust in Yoga and positive thinking is very helpful, he said. Richa Sharma and Aarti Jain advised all members to perform Yoga and stay fit and healthy.
